Bandit’s Secret - Out 10/7

Fully giving into the nerdy sides (well, if you can call 70-80% of yourself “a side”) of ourselves, we submit for your approval our first foray into full on anime rap! Telling the twisted tale of everyone’s favorite spider-themed mafioso, Chrollo Lucilfer from Hunter x Hunter! Help us celebrate the return of one of our favorite manga, and toast to the health of our beloved Togashi-sensei as we immerse ourselves fully in Chrollo’s quest for domination and the motivations behind it!

dubldragon. is the Bay Area’s favorite mc/producer duo

With four albums, ten tours, and countless shows under out belts, we have a plethora of material to delve into! A dragon’s pile of gold, some might say…

THE SAGA THUS FAR

Hailing from two disparate - but not all that distant - Bay Area communities and musical scenes, Skeptik and Danny G were soul-bonded after a chance meeting at a house show, and in short order went from strangers to friends to brothers in arms to sharing motel beds all across the country. Oh, and they make some very strange and awesome music together too! Drawing inspirations from everything from math rock to sad raps to Japanese children’s cartoons, the dragons dubl combine their might into the form of deeply groovy, surprisingly philosophical, dense pieces of music that could fill the belly of the mightiest fire breathing lizard for weeks as they sleep upon their throne of gold and cow carcasses.

Discography

With three full length albums, a collaborative ep, several singles, and more than a few features we try our best to keep a steady output!

Double Dragon (self-titled)

Cut together mostly across the wee hours of the night at Whiskey Dick Studio in Fremont, CA, this was very much a finding of our style and declaration of our intentions. Highlights include Dry Bones, Light Echoes, and Cold Open

FuncoLand w/ Voltaire Slapadelic

In 2020 we did a collaborative ep with out good friend and fellow Bay Area rapper Voltaire Slapadelic! Voltaire and Skeptik share rapping duties on each track, while Dan and Voltaire each provide half of the beats for the project. Taking it back to a simpler time of Game Genies and trade in’s that were actually worth a damn!

Y Wulvz?

Influenced heavily and primarily by From Software’s game Bloodborne, this is our first attempt at a conceptual album exploring the darker sides of human nature. It Doesn’t Matter, Stone Masks, and the title track are all standouts

Synthesthesia

Dan’s production outdoes itself as always as Skeptik’s vocals dance across synth heavy soundscapes asking questions focused on identity, mortality, and the neverending search for catharsis we all call life. With features from Black Magic Noize and Filthy Fingers United’s Araless and Weightless Recordings artist and underground legend Illogic, this is one ride into an electro-fueled dreamland that you want to be firmly strapped in for.

Macroforms

Ever wondered what shape the universe is? Well buckle up, because the explanation is anything but brief. Our second concept album, highlight tracks include Case, Marble, Chiba Blues, and With You
